am i

i found myself

praying

for the first time in three seasons

that a bee

would Berate

my brain.

drunk on bruised plums –

achy vessels

buzz,

buzz,

Break.

please tap my finest vein.

dirt caked knees

Crack beneath Her coercion –

quick to station a seed

lord why must you refuse

to take ever-so

pining me.

grasp far too ample,

disposition choked arid

dethroning Her heir

:am i:

remaining remnant –

yellowed, blackened Debris
